Shark Home Services started with a pretty simple idea: build a home service company that people could actually rely on.
We're Charles and Hayden, two longtime friends who both grew up with pretty competitive backgrounds — and we think that's a big part of why we work so well together.
We started Shark by going door-to-door, meeting homeowners, and doing the work ourselves. What started as a small window cleaning operation has grown into a much bigger vision for a home services company.
We're still just getting started, but the goal has stayed pretty simple: work hard, take care of our customers, and build something we're proud of.
More Than Just Window Cleaning
Window cleaning is where Shark started, but it isn't where we're stopping.
Today, Shark Home Services provides professional window cleaning, pressure washing, and residential water filtration solutions.
Our water filtration services include reverse osmosis drinking water systems, whole-home water filtration systems, and other water treatment solutions designed to help homeowners improve the quality of the water throughout their homes.
Whether we're making the outside of a home look brand new or helping a family improve the water coming from their faucets, our philosophy stays the same:
Do the job right, use quality equipment, communicate clearly, and provide a level of service people remember.
For exterior cleaning, we use professional equipment and modern cleaning methods, including purified-water water-fed pole systems that allow us to safely clean exterior glass while producing a clear, streak-free finish.
For water filtration, we focus on helping homeowners understand their options and find a system that makes sense for their home and their needs — without making the process unnecessarily complicated. We work alongside licensed, trained professional plumbers who handle the installs, so the job is done right from start to finish.
Meet the Founders
Charles & Hayden
Charles Ryder
I grew up as a competitive freeskier, which took me all over the place. I went to ski schools in Vermont and Oregon and eventually spent time living and studying in Norway.
At the same time, I've always been obsessed with business. I was constantly coming up with ideas, trying different things, and figuring out ways to build something of my own.
I now go to ASU online, which gives me the flexibility to keep going to school while putting most of my time into growing Shark.
Hayden Regan
Hayden went to Boston College High School and then went on to Endicott, where he played college baseball.
As Shark started growing, he realized he wanted to go all-in on the business too. He eventually switched to ASU online so we could both have the flexibility to focus on the company.
Those early days taught us something important: people aren't just looking for someone who can perform a service. They're looking for someone they can trust at their home.
That's what we want the Shark name to represent. We're young, ambitious, and constantly looking for ways to improve the company and the experience we provide. We're incredibly proud of the reputation we've started building and even more appreciative of the homeowners who have trusted us along the way.

Our mission is to build a home services company that customers can rely on for years to come.
We want Shark to become a name homeowners recognize and trust — whether they need their windows professionally cleaned, their home's exterior refreshed, or a better water filtration system installed.
We're not interested in being the company that shows up once and disappears. We want to build long-term relationships with our customers and become a company they feel comfortable calling whenever their home needs us.
That's also why we offer recurring service options for homeowners who want to keep their property looking its best throughout the year without having to think about scheduling every service individually.
As Shark grows and expands into new services, that customer-first mentality will remain at the center of the company.

We wanted a name that felt different. Something memorable. Something confident. Something that didn't sound like every other home service company.
Shark Home Services represents the mentality we've had since day one: keep moving forward, stay hungry, work hard, and never get comfortable.
And it definitely makes our trucks, shirts, and team a little harder to forget.
